3 Hour Workshop

A Bud Vase is small vase that can hold just one flower or a small bouquet. It’s quite easy for a beginner to make a vase around 20cm high, which makes this a fantastic workshop for all levels of potters.

In this workshop you’ll be creating your vases using the tactile building technique of pinch-potting, where you pinch down into a ball of clay with your thumbs and slowly work it into a vessel.
Once your vase shape is complete, you are free to decorate how you see fit. Carve out patterns, add colour or attach clay shapes.

This is a 3 hour workshop and costs $89 per person. Once finished, we’ll dry, glaze and fire your pieces, ready to pick up within 6-9 weeks.

Because of it’s simplicity, it is a wonderful pottery class to do with the family. Children under 12 are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying parent.

FAQ

Cancelations/Refunds – Bookings are final. No refunds or exchanges are given if you choose to cancel your workshop or class within 72 hours of class commencement. If you need to change your booking before the 72 hours please check your confirmation email, as there is a “View/Change Booking” button there that you need to click on. Then just change your booking to the next available class.

Parking – For the evening classes you are able to park on West St, but during the day West St is only 1 hour parking. Plenty of day parking can be found on streets off West St. There is no parking available in the lane way down the side of the shop.

Clay – Enough clay for your workshop will be included in this price.

Firing – Firing of all your pieces is included with course costs.

Registration – Make sure to remember your login and password when you register. All future classes can be booked through that account.
