Pottery Hand Building

Hand Building

Join a class

Hand Building is the process of making pottery using 3 different techniques; pinching balls of clay, slab building and using coils. If you’re new to the art form, you’ll be introduced to each technique where you create objects that will be fired and glazed, ready to take home. If you have experience, you can dive in to the project of your choice with an experienced teacher guiding you along the way.

Our 8 week Hand Building class runs with the school term and has currently wrapped up for the year. It will start up again in February 2020. We are offering many hand building workshops throughout the Summer holidays.
